Sony Xperia Ion: The New Xperia Phone Announced

The launch of Android based gadget, the Sony Xperia Ion, was announced on Monday although a release date or price details have not yet been announced. The handset is expected to be launched in a few months, in LTE 4G network of AT&T’s. Overall, it looks to be the best Xperia brand of Sony smartphones to be launched till date. Specifications
It has a 4.6 inch display (HDMI), 12MP camera, TV launcher interface and a sleek design. It has 1280 x 720-pixel display resolution that uses Sony Bravia Engine. However, the best part of the now Sony turned Sony Ericsson is its camera quality which is unmatched by most mobile manufacturers.

Using With a Dock

The Sony Xperia Ion can be used with a docking arrangement and thus a larger display can be obtained. The dock is extremely much similar to the Motorola Webtop experience that can be used in gadgets like Droid Razr and Droid Bionic. One can view photos, play music, and send texts from the comfort of the sofa at home. Sony also claims that the phone is capable of being controlled by a TV remote!

Apple iPad 3 rumor

The rumor mill is heating up that the iPad 3 could indeed be releasing before the holidays, bringing with it LTE support and a retina display.
According to a report from The Wall Street Journal, a research group named CSLA has been looking into the Apple supply chain, and they feel that there is already movement on the iPad 3.  “While most vendors appear fixated on matching the specs and features of iPad 2, our checks suggest Apple will release iPad 3 in time for the holiday season, sporting a better display and LTE capabilities,” said a quote attributed to the researchers.
While always good to stir up rumors and interest by guessing when the iPad 3 is coming, the issue is that Steve Jobs clearly said when the current model was announced that 2011 was “the year of the iPad 2″, which was a backhanded way of ending rumors of a third generation that were already circulating at that time.  Of course Apple is always within its rights to change its mind, but does it really seem like the smart business decision to release two versions of the iPad within the same calendar year, let alone in only seven to eight months?  That seems highly unlikely from a company that is so well known for making good business decisions.
It is quite possible that these will be some of the features in the iPad 3, but our guess is that it will be sometime in 2012 before it’s released.

Iphone 5

It’s been a while since we saw anyone add any sort of color other than silver, black, and white, if you consider those colors, to an iPhone concept. Certainly there’s nothing holding these designers back from doing such mockups, but given the designs of the iPhone in reality thus far, it just doesn’t really add up. What we’re seeing here today is a total departure from everything we know about the iPhone specifically, latching on instead to the lineage of the iPod, with it bringing on four fabulous new color chassis and a cool silver as well.


This isn’t the first time the designer who created these devices has appeared here on SlashGear. The last time Antoine Brieux showed up, it was a double HTC festival with lots of clean edges. Brieux is also responsible for another iPhone 5 concept design that you can see in the gallery below, this one having a very similar shape to the devices we’re seeing today, only with a black border to keep with the reality that the iPhone 5 will very likely be devoid of color like its predecessors.
Another design that this newest set of iPhone 5Gs look like is the Nokia N9, a fabulous device running MeeGo and coming in several bright fabulous matte colors. The designs your seeing here courtesy of Brieux are certainly no flat situation. All your normal buttons are in place: volume up and down, screen lock, power, and you’ve got a headphone jack at the top, a camera with a single LED flash on the back, and your regular iPod dock at the bottom with two speaker grilles. Black matte back on this iPhone 5G and your regular everyday Gorilla Glass front. Same size home button as well.







Features of  iPhone 5 : 
Iphone5 is utilizing Apple’s A5 dual core processor. This is one of the speedy and powerful processor and it was first used in apple ipad2. Current rumors’ have stated that Iphone 5 delayed because of A5 processor overheating when combined with new Iphone. Processors with more powerful GPU and 1GB RAM and A5 processor, 1.2 GHz dual core dual channel processor with an accelerated GPU and more than 1GB main memory.
In Iphone 5, they are going to use their latest version of OS that is iOS 5 which is recently released by Apple. And in this new OS all the software updates are now sent wirelessly and these updates only include the changes. Apple said that more than 200 new features are in iOS 5.
It has the 8MP camera with an improved LED flash. It captures high quality pictures and videos. Iphone 5 has the larger screen at a higher resolution (HD or WXGA), supported by faster LTE network.
The iPhone 5 comes with iOS 5 and it must sync with all iOS 5 features and according to the rumors there is huge possibility that iPhone 5 may be loaded with HDMI Output as well as HD video recording. Of course iPhone 4 is having HD video recording, but still the sources as planning to launch much more advanced versions of it.

The Amazing Spiderman

The Amazing Spider-Man is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Marc Webb, based on the comic book of the same name, and starring Andrew Garfield as the fictional superhero, Spider-Man. It is the fourth Columbia Pictures film based on that Marvel Comics character, and the first film in a rebooted Spider-Man film franchise. The cast includes Garfield as Peter Parker and his alter ego, and Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans as Gwen Stacy and Dr. Curt Connors, respectively. The film will portray Parker as his super powers are evolving in high school.
The film's development began simultaneously with Sony announcing the cancellation of Spider-Man 4. Opting for a reboot rather than another sequel, the studio announced a July 2012 release date for what was now titled The Amazing Spider-Man. James Vanderbilt was hired to write the script while Alvin Sargent and Steve Kloves helped fine-tune the script. Filming started in December 2010 in Los Angeles before moving to New York City with the help of RED Epic camera. The film entered post-production in April 2011.
The Amazing Spider-Man is scheduled to be released in 3D and IMAX 3D on July 3, 2012. A video game tie-in is being developed and sequels of the film are being planned for release.

Men In Black III

Men in Black 3 (stylized MIB 3,and formerly known as Men in Black III-D) is an upcoming 3D science fiction comedy film starring Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones. It will be released as the sequel to Men in Black II on May 25, 2012, ten years after its predecessor.It will also star Josh Brolin and Jemaine Clement, with Barry Sonnenfeld returning as director, and Steven Spielberg returning as executive producer. The film is the third entry in the Men in Black film series which is based on the Malibu comic book series The Men in Black by Lowell Cunningham. Principal photography began in New York City on November 16, 2010.
 The MIB duo of Agent Jay (Will Smith) and Agent Kay (Tommy Lee Jones) are back in action. When the world is threatened by an evil alien, Agent Jay travels back in time to 1969, where he teams up with the younger Agent Kay to stop an evil villain named Boris (Jemaine Clement) from destroying the world in the future. Emma Thompson will play take-charge MIB operative Agent Oh, who is monitoring a prison breakout.  

The Three Musketeers

The Expendables 2 is an upcoming ensemble action film directed by Simon West, written by Sylvester Stallone and based on characters created by David Callaham. It is a sequel to the 2010 action film The Expendables, and stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Chuck Norris, Randy Couture, Terry Crews, Liam Hemsworth, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, and Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film is due to be released on August 17, 2012, by Lions Gate Entertainment.\

 After taking a seemingly simple job for Mr. Church (Bruce Willis) the Expendables find their plans going awry and one of their own is brutally murdered by rival mercenary Jean Vilain (Jean-Claude Van Damme).
